New Graduate Information
Founded in 1970, the UMBC Alumni Association is the official representative body for more than 100,000 alumni. All graduates are automatically members for life and there is no membership fee. The goal of the association is to serve the interests of alumni through educational, charitable, social, or cultural programs and involve alumni in the advancement and support of UMBC. The association is governed by a Board of Directors who work with Alumni Engagement staff to keep alumni connected and engaged with one another, current students, faculty and staff, and the university.
Retrievers Connect
UMBC’s Office of Alumni Engagement, in partnership with the Career Center has launched Retrievers Connect, a professional career connection and networking platform, and we would like to invite you to join!
This community is a place to network with fellow alumni and support students. Online and available whenever you are, you have the opportunity to share your advice, expertise and guidance with current students and other graduates. You can engage with other members of the UMBC community through Retrievers Connect by offering or receiving career advice, sharing job and internship experiences, expanding your professional network, and connecting with other alumni based on region or industry.
