The UMBC Alumni Association is governed by a Board of Directors (AABoD) who meet to discuss matters of interest to all alumni, including planning events and raising funds for the association and the university. Board members serve two-year terms and are expected to attend the Board meetings and serve on one or more committees.

If you are interested in joining the AABoD and meet the requirements below, please complete the Alumni Board of Directors Interest Form. 

• Active involvement as an alumna/us in alumni activities or in the advancement of UMBC
• Willingness to serve on committees of the Alumni Association
• Involvement with UMBC as a student
• Financial support of the university
