What is the UMBC Alumni Owned Business Directory?

The Alumni Business Directory is an online platform where alumni business owners can promote their services, and alumni, students, and community members can easily find and access those businesses.

Who is included in the directory?

All business submissions are reviewed by the UMBC Alumni Association. Within the values and mission of UMBC, the directory will promote businesses owned by UMBC alumni. Multi-level marketing and nationally franchised businesses will not be included.

I’m a UMBC alum, do I get any discounts?

When applicable, and at the owner’s discretion, discounts may be offered.

How can I submit my business information to the directory?

If you or someone you know is a UMBC alum and owns a business, you can submit information for review by the UMBC Alumni Association.

I found information that I believe is inaccurate. What should I do?

We aim to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information but recognize that may not always be possible. If you notice inaccurate information in a business listing, please contact Miriam Friedman at mfriedma@umbc.edu.
