Alums in the News: Okoro, Holmes, and Baker-Frost

Melanie Okoro ’11 Ph.D., marine estuarine environmental science, currently works as the West Coast Region Aquatic Invasive Species Coordinator with the National Oceanic and Atmosphere Administration (NOAA). Steven Gimbel ’91, philosophy, recently discussed his new book Einstein: His Space and Time on WYPR’s “Midday with Dan Rodricks.”  During the show, Gimbel explained Einstein’s influence on American politics and civil rights, which are often overshadowed by his incredible scientific achievements.
