President Hrabowski participated in an interview about innovation and the changing culture of higher education on EvoLLLution, an online newspaper focusing on continuing education.
Dr. Hrabowski emphasized the importance of innovation to the success of colleges and universities in meeting student needs, and discussed the need to welcome nontraditional students. He also encouraged optimism in higher education, saying, “My colleagues and I at UMBC are determined to remain young as an institution and as people” by always focusing on new opportunities to grow.
