UMBC’s B.S. in Financial Economics is a highly structured program that is quantitatively and analytically oriented. Explore your interests in banking, money management, investments, insurance, and so much more. In addition to the common core, the B.S. has additional required courses in finance, accounting, quantitative economics, mathematics, critical thinking, and computer science. If you’re anticipating a career in corporate finance and the financial services sector of the economy, this is the program for you.
