Why Minor in Law and Justice?
Learn more about the law, legal systems, and the struggle for justice in this versatile minor.
Become an expert in how lawyers, courts, and judges influence the world, including in American, comparative, and international law. Learn more about the struggle for justice as well as how law and justice relate to each other. Get hands-on practical opportunities through mock trial, moot court, legal advocacy, and legal internships. UMBC’s Legal Internship Program can place you in positions that are otherwise not open to undergraduates. This minor is also a good pairing for a major in any field where understanding the law is an advantage.
