The certificate is perfect for students who want to strengthen their skills before applying to graduate music programs, focus on contemporary music, or develop the entrepreneurial skills necessary to be a working professional musician.

Students in Jazz Studies take private music lessons with some of the most renowned musicians in the Baltimore/Washington area while developing their skills as bandleaders, composers, and arrangers, culminating in a junior and senior recital.
