UMBC’s B.A. in Dance challenges your approach to performance and choreography. Through an introduction to traditional and experimental techniques, you will push your creative limits to new heights under the direction of acclaimed faculty and visiting artists. Pursue challenging and innovative instruction in technique, performance, history, composition, dance and technology, and production.

You’ll graduate with a strong set of liberal arts skills that will prepare you for a rewarding career as a dancer, choreographer, educator, or pursue a teacher certification through our dual program with the Department of Education.
