Why Minor in Quantitative Biology?
A minor that helps you synthesize skills in biology and mathematics.
The Quantitative Biology minor will teach you how to integrate knowledge of biology and mathematics to address modern biological and medically-oriented questions, an important skill for a successful scientific career. Gain a foundation in biology, including organisms, ecology, evolution, genetics, and cells, as well as calculus, geometry, algebra, statistics. Then synthesize your understanding with electives that cover topics like bioinformatics, systems biology, and conservation genetics.
