UMBC’s Theatre Design and Production Minor equips students with the technical and creative expertise to excel in the world of stagecraft and production.

Areas of study include scenic, costume, lighting and/or sound design, and production skills in woodworking, sewing, and/or welding.skills needed to excel in the dynamic field of theatre production.

The Theatre Design and Production Minor opens doors to various careers in theatre and entertainment, including roles as set designers, lighting and sound technicians, costume designers, and production managers.
