Why Minor in Public History?

Train as a historian and get practical experience.

The Minor in Public History provides students with strong training in research, critical analysis, and persuasive writing, while also emphasizing community engagement and collaboration. The minor exposes students to a variety of public history career opportunities in the greater Baltimore-Washington region. The minor enables students to gain practical experience through internships and practicum courses.
