Why Minor in Asian History?

Broaden your understanding of Asia, especially China and Japan

An Asian History minor is excellent preparation for students pursuing careers in international affairs, education, journalism, business, and law. Students must take a class in Chinese and in Japanese history, but other electives cover South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific. Strengthen your skills in analytical thinking, writing, and speaking while learning about how Asia’s past informs its present.
