Why Major in Computer Engineering?

Learn to use problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and teamwork while working with computer hardware and software.

Become a trained problem solver who understands both computer hardware and software. Get exposure to multiple programming languages and development tools, learn how to use up-to-date equipment in practical labs, and pursue your interests in advanced areas like embedded systems design, digital signal processing, and software engineering. Choose from one of three specializations: Communications, Cybersecurity, and Electronic Systems. Get a head start on graduate school with the combined B.S./M.S. program and complete a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
