The Graduate Senate is built from elected graduate students representing the academic as well as cultural diversity at UMBC. Based on the funding level, those graduate students who apply for a grant may be awarded one.

SDS provides resources to students with disabilities, and those with temporarily disabling conditions or injuries, that may require accommodations in order to have equal access and full participation at UMBC.

UMBC's Library

UMBC's Albin O. Kuhn Library offers many books, videos, articles, research, and archives that are available for students to use to enhance their studies. The Library's Special Collections and Gallery are also open for students.

By collaborating with UMBC faculty and staff to connect students to internship and employment opportunities, the Career Center helps UMBC graduate students and alumni create their own success stories.

Financial Aid

UMBC offers a range of financial aid and payment options so that all students may benefit from a UMBC education. Financial aid can come in the form of grants, work, student loans, parent loans, scholarships and other awards.
