A symphony orchestra performs on stage in a concert hall

The Department of Music presents the UMBC Symphony Orchestra and the UMBC String Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Philip Mann in a program featuring Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade and other works:

  • St. Paul’s Suite — Gustav Holst
  • String Quartet arranged for String Orchestra (II. Andante moderato) — Florence Price 
  • The Lake Isle — Ola Gjeilo — with the UMBC Camerata, under the direction of Carlin Truong
  • Scheherazade — Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov

Tickets are free, but reservations are required. Please visit here to reserve seats.
