UMBC’s Asian studies minor offers an introduction to Asia—its people, cultures, history, policy, language, art, and more. Electives in Asian languages are available if you’re interested in deepening your linguistics knowledge. An Asian Studies minor is an excellent option for you if you’re majoring in History, Modern Languages and Linguistics, Political Science, or Sociology.
