Review Master of Professional Studies in Health Information Technology Requirements

Applicants should have a minimum undergraduate 3.0 GPA. GRE testing is not required. English Proficiency testing (TOEFL/ IELTS) is required for international students. Please visit our website for detailed admissions requirements for international applicants.

Beginning in Fall 2025, all required courses for Health Information Technology (HIT) will be available in both online and on–campus formats. This flexibility allows students to complete their degree with fully online course options.

Important for International Students (F–1 Visa Holders):
Per federal regulations, F–1 visa students must maintain full–time enrollment by completing at least 6 of their required 9 credits per semester through in–person, on–campus courses. While online courses are an option, they cannot replace the required face–to–face coursework necessary to maintain visa status.

You will receive an email once the department processes your decision letter. You will be able to see your decision letter by logging in to the application website.
