UMBC Symphony Orchestra and UMBC String Chamber Orchestra

Date: December 5, 2025, 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Location: Earl and Darielle Linehan Concert Hall

A symphony orchestra performs on stage.

The Department of Music presents the UMBC Symphony Orchestra and the UMBC String Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Philip Mann.

The concert will also feature the world premiere of Chesapeake, written by Rich Sigwald ’03, music, in honor of E. Michael Richards, professor of music and former conductor of the UMBC Symphony Orchestra, who passed away in 2023.

Additional program details will be announced.
