A View from the Statehouse: A Constitution Day Conversation with Delegate Mark Chang, ’99

The annual Constitution Day Lecture, part of the Fall 2023 Social Sciences Forum, presents Maryland Delegate Mark Chang, who represents District 32 in Anne Arundel County and graduated from UMBC in 1999.

This event will features a question and answer session with a faculty and student panel, discussing Delegate Chang’s life story as a first-generation Korean-American and public servant, and how UMBC prepared him for his career. Delegate Chang will also discuss the role state governments can play in preserving American democracy.

Admission is free.
