Support Our Arts Programs

Invest in creativity, innovation and community impact by donating to our Arts program. Your contributions empower students and faculty by supporting arts education, student success, and public performances and exhibitions.

We Saved You a Seat!

Name a seat for $500 – a gift that directly benefits the arts and humanities at UMBC.

In return for your contribution, a plaque engraved with your name (or text of choice) will adorn a seat in Linehan Concert Hall or the Proscenium Theatre. All funds raised from the seats will fund an endowment to ensure that arts productions and other programs are available for future generations.

Name a Space

UMBC offers a wide range of named giving opportunities within the Performing Arts & Humanities Building, the Fine Arts Building, and across the arts. Donors can create a lasting legacy by naming arts spaces, programs, centers, or academic initiatives after themselves or in honor of someone else.

Naming levels range from $25,000 to over $1 million. Investments directly support the arts at UMBC.

The Linehan Artist Scholars Program

This four-year scholarship program supports UMBC’s first-year students majoring in the visual and performing arts. By making a donation to this program, you invest directly in the next generation of creative leaders, providing scholarship funding and program support for talented students, helping them thrive academically and artistically, while strengthening the future of the arts.
