Dr. Zeev Rosenzweig obtained his BSc and PhD degrees in chemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, israel in 1986 and 1992 respectively. He joined UMBC as Professor and Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in 2014 following academic and government appointments at the University of New Orleans and the national Science Foundation between 1995 and 2014. He stepped down as department chair in 2020 and has been dedicating his time to research, teaching and other service activities since then.
