Why Study Geography and Environmental Systems?

Through the Master’s in Geography & Environmental Systems, students understand the interconnectedness of human-natural systems, including the impacts of human activities on the environment, the socioeconomic consequences of environmental degradation, and environmental policy. Graduates are highly qualified professionals who have a broad understanding of water resources and earth-surface processes, ecosystem science, and atmospheric processes.

You will have the background to understand the interconnectedness of human-natural systems, including the impacts of human activities on the environment, the socioeconomic consequences of environmental degradation, and environmental policy. With the latest research on geographic information science and remote sensing, you will have the tools to better understand these patterns and changes in the human and human environment.
