Review Master of Arts in Texts, Technologies, and Literature Requirements

Applicants should submit the following for full consideration:

  • Academic Transcript
  • A statement of interest between 500700 words. Statements should include a narrative
    of candidates’ intellectual development; their rationale for choosing the UMBC TTL
    program; a discussion of the professors or topics within the TTL program that
    complement their professional goals; an articulation of their research direction.
  • A writing sample of either one piece of researchbased writing between 1220 pages,
    double spaced; OR a portfolio of professional work containing between 1220 pages
    and including a 500word introduction framing the portfolio’s contents
  • Two letters of recommendation
