Dr. Sonnenschein is interested in factors that promote the educational success of children, particularly those at risk for difficulties.Research interests
Dr. Sonnenschein's main scholarly interests include language, literacy, and math development of children from diverse backgrounds as well as parents' academic socialization of their children's development. She also evaluates the effectiveness of academic interventions.Teaching interests
