Sharon Tran is Assistant Professor of English at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Her research focuses on multiethnic American literatures and cultures with an emphasis on Asian American studies and gender studies. She is the author of Asian Girlhood in the Shadows of U.S. Empire (U Minnesota). Her other published writing can be found in American Quarterly, Signs, Contemporary Literature, the Journal of Asian American Studies, and MELUS.Research interests
