I was born and grew up in South Korea.After getting bachelor and master degrees in statistics, I worked for 9 years in industry.
After getting my Ph.D. degree in Statistics in the University of South Carolina, I've started to work at UMBC since 2018 fall. I was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in July 2024
