About

Rouben Rostamian earned a PhD degree in Applied Mathematics from Brown University in 1977. He has been on the UMBC faculty since 1985.

Research interests

Partial differential equations, mathematical modeling, fluid and solid mechanics, computational algorithms, computing.

Teaching interests

I teach a variety of courses, from calculus for freshmen to special topics courses in the areas of my specialties for the graduate students.
