Received a BS degree from the University of Geneva in 1989, Switzerland and a PhD from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI (1996). Postdoctoral work in the area of developmental neurobiology in the laboratories of Dr Ariel Ruiz i Altaba at NYU, Skirball Institute of Biomedical Sciences, NY, NY (1996-1999) and Dr Marnie Halpern at the Carnegie Institution for Science, Dept of Embryology, Baltimore (MD) (2000-2003).Research interests
