Michael Fallon is a poet and essayist who has taught expository writing, literature, and creative writing at UMBC since 1985. He is the author of 3 books of poetry: A History of the Color Black, Since You Have No Body, and The Great Before and After.

Research interests

Cosmology, dreams, physics, the brain and nueroscience, poetics, prosody. etc.

Teaching interests

Comtemporary American Poetry and Literature, as well as 20th and 19th Century, Creative Non- fiction and the essay form, expository writing.
