Matthew D. Kvalheim is an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He previously held postdoctoral positions in the Departments of Mathematics at the University of Michigan and in the GRASP Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania. He received an MS in Mathematics and MS and PhD degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is interested in dynamical systems, control theory, differential topology, and applications.Research interests
