About
I am a broadly-trained biomedical scientist.Research interests
Immunological Cell Signaling, Natural Products, and Public HealthTeaching interests
Opportunities that allow interdisciplinary approaches and analysis are of particular interest to me. In laboratory teaching I am of the mind that I need to prepare students for the skills and knowledge that would be expected of them in a research or clinical laboratory that deals with that topic. In lectures, I try to help my students develop critical thinking skills and connect proverbial dots between different disciplines.Education
