About
I joined the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering department at UMBC in autumn of 2014, where I founded the IRAL (Interactive Robotics and Language) lab, an AI and machine learning group. I research how robotics and natural language processing can support one another in order to improve the accessibility and usefulness of robots in human-centered environments.
