Dr. Rocha-Lima is an Assistant Professor at Physics Department at UMBC. She received a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Physics from University of Sao Paulo in 2005 and 2008 respectively, and a PhD in Atmospheric Physics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore Country (UMBC) in 2015.
