The campus has finished installation of its innovative and sustainable solar-powered charging stations. These off-the-grid power systems serve as solar-powered tables, where community members can charge their devices while working or relaxing outside. In addition to providing sustainable, wire-free power, components of the stations are made from recycled plastics.
The tables are located in the Admin Plaza, Commons Plaza, and Harbor Hall courtyard area. The tables were made available through a partnership with the student “Prove It” program, Facilities Management, The Commons, and Residential Life.
