About
Timothy Nohe is an artist, composer and educator engaging traditional and electronic media in civic life and public places. His work has been focused upon sustainability and place, and musical and video works for dance and live performance. He holds a BFA in Photography from the Maryland Institute, College of Art and a MFA in Visual Arts from the University of California, San Diego. He was named a 2023-2025 Mentor in the ACM Mellon Foundation program at Colorado College. He is currently a tenured Professor of Visual Arts, and Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs in the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. In recent years he served as Acting Chair in the Department of Emergency, Disaster and Health Systems.Research interests
