Matthew is a conservation geographer and ecologist interested in the fragmentation and restoration of tropical and temperate forests.

Research interests

Forest fragmentation and connectivity in human-dominated landscapes, studied using remote sensing, GIS, modeling, and field work. Assessing conservation and restoration policies.
