Research interests
My research interests are in in environmental, behavioral and development economics. My current research focuses on studying programs that affect water demand, water supply and compliance with environmental regulation. Another important part of my work is centered on the study of behavioral aspects that affect economic and environmental decisions. My goal is to help design strategies that are tailored to people’s characteristics, and thereby improve outcomes and increase program participation.Teaching interests
I particularly like to teach microeconomic theory because it is the basis to understand and apply economics. My other great interest is environmental economics where microeconomic theory is applied to solve environmental problems.Education
