Professor Lynn Cazabon

About

Lynn Cazabon is a Professor of Art in the Department of Visual Arts at UMBC who creates site-specific, participatory artworks exploring the intersection of environmental and social issues. She is also the Director of the Center for Innovation, Research, and Creativity in the Arts.

Research interests

Research areas include the intersection of environmental and social issues, urban ecology, environmental art, community art, participatory art, art/science collaborations, and new media.

Teaching interests

Teaching areas include traditional and digital photography, alternative photographic processes, time-based media including video and audio, installation art, interdisciplinary art, social practice, and community art.
