About

Dr. Singer is involved in several collaborative grant-funded programs, such as UMBC’s Teacher Quality programs in Chemistry and Biology programs, and the NSF funded INSPIRES project. His role in the INSPIRES grant is to adapt and study the classroom impact of a situated-model of professional development. Dr Singer also directs the NSF-funded Noyce Scholars Program at UMBC, which is designed to recruit STEM students into the field of education.
