About
Cathy Cook has been creating films, videos, poetry films, collages and installations since 1982. She has exhibited her award-winning work internationally. In 2001, Cook was awarded a Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship. In 2021 she received a Preservation Grant from the Avant-Garde Masters Grant from the New American Cinema Group and the NY. Filmmakers’ Co-op. In 2024, she was awarded a Commission from the Parkway Theater to produce a video/animation for the Parkway Windows.
