About
Dr. Wallace’s research centers on the intersections of race, gender, aging, and health, with particular emphasis on the lived experiences of Black women and older adults within healthcare systems and across the life course. Grounded in sociology, gerontology, and Black feminist theory, her scholarship examines how structural inequities, cultural expectations, and institutional practices shape health outcomes, caregiving, chronic illness management and workforce experiences.
