Tom Beck, Chief Curator, has been selected chair of the Maryland State Historical Records Advisory Board, the group that connects historical groups in Maryland and reviews Maryland grants submitted to the National Historical Publications and Records Commission of the National Archives. He succeeds Edward Papenfuse, retiring Maryland State Archivist and Commissioner of Land Patents.
