Why Study Engineering Management?
The UMBC Engineering Management program will help you maximize your technical and business skills.
The UMBC Engineering Management program combines a practical business approach with an in-depth technical concentration. You’ll learn how to lead people and manage complex projects while gaining relevant technical skills. Undergraduate students can pursue an accelerated bachelor’s/master’s degree, and graduate students can pursue either a Master of Professional Studies degree with a wide variety of pathways or a certificate, which can later be applied to a master’s degree. The program is best suited for engineers working in technology-oriented enterprises or government programs. Designed for the busy working professional, the courses are led by industry experts to address real-world problems in the workplace.
