In conjunction with Somewhere Over the Rainbow of Row Homes, We Fly, an intergenerational group exhibition organized by curator Angela N. Carroll, the Center for Art, Design, and Visual Culture presents an artist roundtable on experimental praxis moderated by Ernest Shaw in conversation with Ada Pinkston and Lehna Huie.

Interdisciplinary visual artist Stephanie J. Williams will tell us about her artistic practice, which bridges sculpture and animation. Her work navigates hierarchies of taste, unpacking how “official” histories are constructed in order to understand contemporary social coding.
