SPARK: Wanted: Your Memories About Winter!

Location: The Peale
In conjunction with SPARK: New Light, on display at The Peale, Lynn Cazabon will be in the gallery ready to record your winter memories to be added into the project Losing Winter, featured in SPARK and also on display at the Maryland Center for History and Culture. Sessions will be held on September 11, 17, 23, and 25.
Losing Winter is a site-specific, participatory artwork and archive of memories and emotions about winter, revealing the personal and cultural ties we have to the season and providing a window onto what we are collectively losing due to climate change impacts on weather patterns.
The project is realized through site-specific exhibitions, collaborations with the public, and an augmented reality mobile application. The Losing Winter mobile application is free and available for download through the Apple App and Google Play stores.
Cazabon will be available for the following listening sessions:
Sunday, September 11, 12–3 p.m.
Saturday, September 17, 12–3 p.m.
Friday, September 23, 5–7 p.m.
Sunday, September 25, 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
