Valerie is responsible for the overall administration of the Human Resources Department to include: recruitment and selection, training and development, benefits, payroll, classification/compensation, HRIS and general policy administration.

Elmer is responsible for overseeing the employment process and
labor relations functions including administering and ensuring compliance with the various negotiated collective bargaining agreements.
He is also responsible for overseeing the Performance Management Process (PMP).

Rochelle is responsible for overseeing Classification/Compensation, Benefits, HRIS and PeopleSoft functions of the HR Department to include:  wage studies, requests to establish or modify positions, health, retirement and other supplemental benefits, as well as activities related to the management of biographic and demographic data for employees.

Zahira is reponsible for managing the day-to-day activities related to HR Benefits and Leave programs and ensuring compliance with policies and laws. She provides advice and counsel to employees on benefit programs to include health, retirement, disability, life, tuition remission, and employee assistance programs.

Courtney is responsible for conducting new employee orientation, reviewing and processing tuition remission and tuition reimbursement requests, and handling all retirement and pension-related work, including retiree health benefits, retirement applications, and supplemental retirement accounts.

Pat is responsible for conducting job studies, salary surveys, and other projects related to the classification and compensation of campus staff and positions.

Kim is responsible for recruitment and selection for exempt and non-exempt staff as well as faculty recruitment. She coordinates the Employee of the Quarter Program. In addition, Kim is responsible for development and maintenance of the Human Resources website.

Sandy assists the Employment Manager in recruitment and selection of staff and faculty positions. She reviews and evaluates application forms, provides guidance on application procedures and administers skills testing.

Labor Relations

Shobhna is responsible for assisting the Director of Employment/Labor Relations in the handling of labor relations concerns. She is responsible for responding to all unemployment claims. She conducts PMP training for non-supervisory staff.

Sherrell is currently assigned to the Delta Initiative Project for the implementation of the PeopleSoft HRMS modules. Sherrell is the designated HRIS Functional Subject Matter Expert for the Time & Labor and other reporting modules in the HRMS system. In addition, she processes all HR security requests.

Denise is responsible for the daily maintenance and quality assurance of employee job and demographic data within the Human Resources database.  She  also assists the HRIS Manager in reporting and leave issues.
