Duties:    This position requires one to assist the Program Manager with the daily operations of the Visual Arts Production Center, which includes opening the center, checking in and out production equipment, answering phones, maintaining labs, classrooms and center facilities (trash removal, cleaning) and closing down the center at the end of the day. Additional duties may require assisting faculty, staff and other students. Assisting Program Manager with larger maintenance jobs.
     
Required skills:    Student should be enrolled in a Visual Arts production course or have a comprehensive knowledge of film/video equipment. Must be reliable and punctual.

Position:    Computer Lab Monitor
Positions Available:    multiple
Duties:    The student lab monitor in the Visual Arts department will assist visual arts students, faculty, and staff with the copier, printers, and purchasing printing papers and supplies. Friendly, casual environment. Some computer knowledge, especially Apple, is helpful but not necessary. The position is in the printing room, and the monitor should be social and willing to greet people in a friendly manner. Required to help with printing questions and minor printer maintenance such as filling paper trays and clearing paper jams. Training will be provided. Some training in making custom prints may be provided to students with an interest and aptitude. All majors are welcome. Day, evening, and weekend slots are available.
     
Required skills:    Apple Mac computer experience helpful but not required. Friendly attitude and an ability to get along with diverse customers of students, faculty and staff.
