| DETAILS | Join the UMBC community in a celebration of UMBC's record-tying chess championship. This year's Pan-American Intercollegiate Team Chess Championship gives the team four such titles in five years -- a string matched only by Harvard. The UMBC pep band, dance squad, and mascot will all be cheering for the team as they are honored by UMBC President Hrabowski and the rest of the community.
