Web Manager for the Office of Undergraduate Education

Examples of responsibilities include:

Designing, creating, updating and maintaining web pages and other web communications; general office assignments and other duties as assigned.

Hours: Up to 15 hours per week during academic sessions.

Additional Benefits:

This position offers the opportunity for the candidate to work up to 40 hours per week during winter break and summer months.

Starting Salary: $7.50 per hour

Required Qualifications:

Computer and software skills in HTML, CSS with a thorough knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver and Contribute (preferably CS4 or later); ability to create an HTML web page with a style sheet; knowledge of PHP and JavaScript with a basic understanding of the client/server architecture, web technologies and Photoshop skills a plus; requires use of e-mail, Microsoft Office 2007 programs with typing speed and accuracy starting at 40 wpm; general office skills in managing and organizing project deadlines for complex projects; well-developed interpersonal, communication and time management skills; ability to function in a busy, fast-paced office that frequently focuses on projects that require accuracy; skilled in executing assignments given from multiple sources; confidentiality skills a must.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in office work with the ability to do general office assignments in addition to web maintenance; an interest in working through senior year.
